DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/18 13:48
Corn Price Slump Continues, Spring Wheat Gains on Dry Forecast

December corn closed down 6 3/4 cents, pressured by more spec selling, even
though the demand for corn remains highly active at these cheap prices.
September Minneapolis wheat closed up 8 3/4 cents and November canola was up
C$18.20 as both crops are threatened by a hot a dry forecast for much of the
northwestern U.S. Plains and Canadian Prairies.
